The Veterans Oasis Park is a 112-acre green space located at the southwest corner of 40th Street and Chandler Heights Road in Chandler, AZ. It is an out door rec center with a beautiful visitor area and educational programs. This area has been developed as a resource for veterans and the surrounding community to gather and honor our nation’s fallen heroes. Its amenities include a Lake, reservable pavilions, walking trails, restrooms, a playground, and horse trails. Hiking trails wind through the 32-acre park, leading visitors past native Arizona plants and trees, a desert tortoise breeding and rearing area, stonework from historic buildings at Camp Jessie Ball, and more.
One of our favorite parts of the recreation center is a mainstream spot to go running outside with a 4.5-mile cleared multi-reason trail around the lake. The climbing and trekking trails bear the cost of guests the occasion to appreciate a lot the wetland zone all alone. Also, horseback riding is permitted here. So that means you might even see some horses on their way into this beautiful park!
