Gummy Smile

Hooded Eyelids

Botox for your upper lid is a simple, quick treatment that lifts the lid away from the sensitive eye area and smooths parentheses lines under the eyes. The sensitive eye area will be a little swollen for a few days following treatment, but that’s it. Side effects include bruising or minor swelling around the injection sites, but these should subside within seven days.

Post Treatment

After your treatment, you shouldn’t wash your face with warm water and prevent exercising for a day. Try not to touch your face and massage the treated region. And finally, avoid taking medications like aspirin or ibuprofen on the day of this treatment and the day after. As they act as blood thinners, they can cause bruising after the injection. About 14 days after you receive your injections, we ask that you come back in for a follow-up. We then offer additional injections if you’re unhappy with the results or want a little touchup. In closing, treating gummy smile with Botox is easy, rapid, effective, and fairly painless. The fact that it is temporary makes if you do not like the outcome or don’t feel like yourself, you can always opt not to get more shots. Simple as that.
