Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a natural substance found throughout the skin. It is FDA-approved and is manufactured in the United States. It is probably the most popular form of Injectable filler on the market today. Most of Allergan’s products are made from Hyaluronic Acid. It helps your cells maintain moisture, making your skin appear plump, hydrated, and healthful. Additional benefits of Hyaluronic Acid: When your skin is hydrated, it seems more glowing and is pillow-soft. Hydration can cause wrinkles and lines to appear diminished, making skin more youthful in appearance. Hyaluronic Acid is fantastic for any skin type, including people who have sensitive skin.

Hyaluronic Acid has antioxidant properties acting essentially as the guard against contamination and other free radicals we can’t control. Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers are often tender and similar to gelatin. The Results of these Dermal fillers are temporary, lasting from six to 12 months. HA’s newer formulations have been extensively tested to determine their safety and efficacy for improving skin structure and appearance. Most Hyaluronic Acid fillers possess lidocaine (a numbing agent) to minimize discomfort during and after treatment. FDA approved Hyaluronic Acid fillers include: Juvederm Ultra filler, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, Belotero Balance, and Voluma Lip filler.

Calcium Hydroxylapatite is next on our list of Injectable fillers. It is one of the most well-studied Dermal fillers globally and has been substantially employed to correct moderate-to-severe facial folds and lines and missing volume due to aging. It is a naturally-occurring element detected in our bones. These types of Injectable fillers are also tender and gel-like. We’ve found it to have a consistency thicker than Hyaluronic Acid fillers, which means Calcium Hydroxylapatite fillers will last longer than Hyaluronic Dermal fillers, especially with Lip augmentation. Typically, (keep in mind this number does vary person to person) this thicker gel lasts about 12 months. Calcium Hydroxylapatite also helps stimulate natural collagen production, a naturally-occurring chemical in the skin that offers construction and firmness. Calcium Hydroxylapatite is typically used for deeper wrinkles and lines. The only FDA approved CaHA filler on the market is currently Radiesse®. Calcium Hydroxylapatite is a form of Non Surgical Rhinoplasty.

People with facial aging or sagging have many options to correct this issue. One of the most popular is injectable Poly-L-Lactic Acid. A nonsurgical procedure, Injectable Poly-L-Lactic Acid helps to restore facial volume lost over time. Taking just a few minutes. It ‘s an FDA approved, quick and easy way to inject your face with the right amount of volume. PLLA products are classified as collagen stimulators. They’re used to smooth lines and construct volume by helping your skin rebuild collagen. Poly-L Lactic Acid is used to create structure, framework, resulting in a fuller, more pleasing look. The top areas addressed are cheeks, temples, and marionette lines. It can be used alone to create a more toned look, or combined with other products for different results! This injected filler stimulates the body to produce its own collagen gradually. The impacts of PLLA appear slowly over a month or two. So with that said, you’re a great candidate for a Poly-L-lactic acid if you want to deal with intense facial wrinkles and correct volume reduction. The effects are strong and can last 2 years. The FDA approved Poly-L-lactic acid fillers, which include Sculptra® Aesthetic.

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is a synthetic, biocompatible material that has been used in medicine for a lot of the previous century. PMMA chooses a tiny ball in dermal fillers that stays beneath the skin indefinitely to provide continued support. PMMA fillers also contain hydration. PMMA is thought to be a semi-permanent filler that is most often used to treat medium-to-deep pits, wrinkles, and furrows, especially smile and laugh lines. Also, it can be used to fill out pitted scars, such as acne scars. If you want a more permanent solution to facial wrinkles, FDA approved PMMA fillers include Bellafill®. Please note: We don’t carry Bellafill at Botox and Lip Fillers by Viso Aesthetics.
