Dysport has been on the market since 1996. Dysport contains a Botulinum toxin released in tiny amounts into the treated muscles, temporarily blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. In clinical trials, Dysport produced a soothing effect within 1 week and reduced moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles.
